I don't think there is a service either. I think maybe 2 family members should accompany him. For me, I can guarantee a meltdown when I travel due to stress & I have to be the driver (husband is blind) I dunno how your brother is with disruptions to his schedule, though. he might want to drive (or be driven) & not fly in case his symptoms get worse, because they might not let him on the plane if he is too impaired. I won't fly because I'm bipolar and after 9/11 I worry if I have a meltdown when I make a mistake or someone yells at me.
You could try an overnight visit to a closer city & see how it goes. But I really think it will have to be family, or hire a social worker or a person who has been a community support person or something (trained, but no degree).
