How do I make money on the side while constantly travelling/in service during Americorps (see details)?

I'm joining americorps soon and only get paid $4000 for the year (roughly $200 every other week) and get a $4000 scholarship. I want more money to help me in going to college. So I need some way to earn money.

Can't be an at home business where I have to spend alot of time on the computer. Nor sell merchandise that I have to have on me, cause I'll be living out of a bag or two basically.

I will be constantly travelling and doing volunteer work for Americorps.

Also this is not like side money to have fun with but to save so I can go to college and survive for awhile without a loan or going homeless like a friend did for awhile.

Has to be something automated so that I earn like an extra hundread if not more a week. Without spamming people with ads and such.

I would suggest travel writing. You're going to be traveling, so take advantage of it! You can sell articles to different magazines, newspapers, etcetera, and get paid quite a bit! Even if none of your articles sell, you can make a lot of what you paid for in the process of your trip tax deductible.

If you're going to be moving a lot, it'll be impossible to hold a steady job where you get paid unless you work from a phone or a computer, but if by chance you will have access to a computer once in a while, there is stuff you can do, like taking surveys online, etcetera.

Something a little less steady but that's sure to get you money is babysitting. Depending on where you'll be in the world, babysitting/house sitting can earn you a lot of money.
