How can I get into the travel photography business?

I am retired and have searched the Wal-Mart stores for travel magazines to see what is available out there or what is needed. The only one, if available at all, is Southern Living. Nothing at the library either. I am not an amateur, schooling already completed. Love adventure and want to share what I find with others. Thanks.

If you are thinking about getting into it seriously, then you need a good portfolio to start with. If you don't already have one, just get your camera and travel. You can even put your photos in online galleries and depending on the quality of your work, you can get into the business.

money in your pocket to pay hospitality or travel services
and other taxes, or some sponsor contract support you
or you can run as globe-trotter/tourister/
as like simply walker on ground or on the sea, mountain,
or if you can not moving you can be Telecommuter
stayng confortable in your pijamas at home computer
with stay alive internet computer using google Earth
or simply maps.google.com or local.live.com
or some virtual reality VRML as like real Panoramio.com
