I think it depends what age you are and where you specifically are going. I find Frommers to be written more for an older crowd, and its guides are stronger for European cities. Lonely Planet is also strong in Europe, but its amazing for Asia really. Also, the target audience is a little younger, so the recommended places to stay and eat are not as high end as Frommers.
Thats my experience. I have become a Lonely Planet fan (much better than Let's Go Guides). Good luck! |
