I need a travel guide book!!! I am a college student and I will be traveling to Western Europe this summer.?

I am trying to save money, so I would like the best travel guide book that will help me to do so. I am also in college, so I want a guide book that will show me how to have fun too!!
Any suggestions?

This is a tad off the subject, but for a great & fun guide book about the most famous museums in Europe, don't be without Rick Steve's "Mona Winks." It's killer!

The best money safer I know are the Lonely Planet guides.
They list hostels, museums, sights, places to eat, drink, shop, and so on, with opening times, cost and advise how to travel to and in town.
Get the edition that covers the countries you want to go, like the Western Europe book, or Europe on a shoestring if you also go to the east of Europe.

The best way to find the fun places when in a town, is asking the locals and the people who have been there for a while, mostly the hostel staff and other guests can help you find the best place.
And listen to the people you meet to find the best place for your next stop.

I agree with Willeke, Lonely Planet have been the best guide books I have seen.
