In every country guides are available either thru official Information center or directly from travel guides list.

Booking a guide only for you would be quite expensive as everywhere else, they have fixed rates.
Skopje is not a very big town, you can do without a guide. Just search for attractions on net

purchase a map of the town and...off you go !

I am sure, you will enjoy walking thru the old neighborhood and picturesque town. And do not forget to taste local cuisine: it is delicious!

Why all the people who ask a question about FYROM are in level 1?

Is it a coincidence or the people of FYROM create multiple profiles in order to promote their country ?

Whatever.

The truth is that all the Balkan countries worth a visit because they have their own beauty and characteristics like any other country in Europe.

The only bad thing is that the travelers will be viewers of a "rape" of History in this country because they still try to find their identity (even in the wrong place).

But despite this , it's a nice travel destination .
