I would look for stuff that people use to go backpack camping which is small and compact and light. Cabela's should have some stuff id also try sportsman's warehouse and REI.
Those places look for the boat also. www.cabelas.com www.sportsmanswarehouse.com www.rei.com |

Just think along the lines of backpacking and its all simple. There are frames that can attach to the back of your seat for mounting the pack. Bring extra bungee cords. Saddle bags for a few strays. If you'll be deep in the wild you might want to stow a gallon or two of gas. You might also want to bring an extra tarp or two for a quickie tent for you, your bike and your stuff.

the boat - well I seen one blow up one at a dollar store it's a 3 man and was as big as about a bread box..
but if i may recomment for gear.. get backpacking gear... most of the tents and tools are light weight and compressable! the tent is very light and compresses very nicely only issue is it cost so much! but it's worth the wait!!! |

That would depend on the size an capacity of your bike and if you have a passenger. I had a HD ultra classic and I often went grocery shopping on it with my old lady behind me.You would be surprised what you can put in one of those suckers. add a luggage rack to the tour pack and a few straps and tie it on. Just remember if you get a tent or rubber boat you will never get it back to the size it was when you purchased it. Might take it with you when you go shopping, load the important stuff first,if you run out of room you can always return what you can't handle. Then there is always the trailer, There are plenty made for towing behind bikes. You can really load one of those. If you get a sm. pop up camper you can tie a canoe on top,and you will have it all. Good Luck
