How can I find companions to travel abroad with?

I'm planning a trip around Asia with a couple friends. We're looking for a few more people to join us but can't find anyone among our friends who will commit to going with us. They either can't find the time or don't have the money to go.

Is there a way to find other people out there in the same situation who have the time and money to go abroad but can't find traveling companions?

Are there any travel forums or message boards on the internet I can look at? I

Well, I don't have an exact answer, but....
Just Go! Travelers are a self-selecting group. When you get where you're going (wherever that is) you'll find 'em.

check out statravel or any other student travel group. they specialize in group travel for 18-30 year olds. good prices and discounts.

i don't have any particular answer for your question
but i think there are certain travel agencies that organizes group vacations, where they do a tour for a group of 20 people ( all basically strangers) so my suggestion is look for those agencies that organizes those group vacations

You will meet lots of people when you go there so you may find you find lots of travelling companions in the first place you visit......where in Asia are you going??
