Cabbies are always a good resource. You can take a "Stadtrundfahrt" (city tour) with any taxi. Most cabbies speak English. In Frankfurt, there is a tram called the 'Ebbelwoi Express'. Basically, this is a trolly tour that you can ride all day if you wish, on which is served the local favorite - Apple wine. It's fun. Finally, check out the local entertainment and dining guide "Journal Frankfurt" for the latest available tours and activities. Frankfurt is not considered a tourist city, but it's a fun place. I lived there for a long time and it's always worth a visit. Just stay out of the red light district at night.
