I'm looking for a future travel companion?
i know it sounds like a long time planning coz its confirm that i'm going on a 6 mths trip in 2009.. but i am looking for a travel partner prefer with someone who has no other commitments..

it does not matter where you are from , male or female .. since mabye we can meet at a specific country etc..

my plan is to go backpacking .. location not sure coz its my first time doing so .. i hope that person is more experience than i am ..
anyone game?? and please no murderers/rapist/theives etc.. plz haha

Strangers are friends you have not met yet!

I am passionate about travelling but I can't see two years into future, its a long time, and I can have other commitments by that time like I can relocate, change jobs, get into a relationship or go back to school. Moreover, you don't have fixed destination (its easy to find companions for popular destinations). So there seems to be lack of a guiding factor in your plans. Having said that, I know that some people plan in that advance, even I myself had planned my trip to the Andaman Seas four years in advance, the only difference is that I wasn't looking for a travel companion. I have an email buddy in Europe who is very excited about her trip to India, though she doesn't have any definite plans in next two years, but she has started doing her homework already. She always has lots of questions about India and every time we talk she picks a few words in Hindi. So the idea is that you can pick a few people, corresspond with them and eliminate some of them. You have enough time to know about your travel companion/s and plan an itinerary.

By the way, I will be doing the southeast in june/july this year, already have an international companion to travel in Malaysia but looking for companions for the other laps of my journey to Thailand, Cambodia and/or Vietnam.

Beware of murderers/rapist/theives etc. they come in good disguise....lol
