how can i find someone to travel with as a companion?

There are services and sites which specialize in helping people find travel companions. Google the words "travel companion" to see some of them. There is also a site called TravelChums which helps you to link up with other people who might be potential companions, but I've never used this. You might also ask a travel agent for recommendations on how to find someone to travel with. Maybe you should join a group tour, but you should make sure it's one with other people of your age and marital status. Also, talk up your plans with your friends. Maybe one of them will decide to join you. Good luck!

ask the travel agency that you intend to use if they have anohter person book for the same fly /hotel ect
if so tell them to give the person you name & # you guys can meet and decide to be companion
but if you go around asking you minght end up with some weirdo
