Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Afghanistan and Mongolia...
Of the 8 countries above, which Central Asian countries are worth visiting, generally safe to travel and tourist-friendly? The qualities I'm looking for are: 1. Safety & Hygiene (less theft, mugging and epidemic possibilities) 2. Tourist-friendly (friendly people) 3. Historical sites (amazing architecture) 4. Beautiful nature (maybe exotic) 5. Facinating culture and cuisine Again, the countries on my wish-list are: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Afghanistan and Mongolia Choose the best 3 countries in order. |

the more popular ones among tourists are (in order):
1. iran 2. uzbekistan 3. mongolia 4. kazakhstan lots of tourists visit them each year so people there are used to tourists and there are plenty of organised tours around the country. they also have lots of interesting historical sights to visit, nature to explore. however, their tourism infrastucture should further be improved for the convenience of tourists. iran, uzbekistan andkazakhstan are also popular among christians and muslims tourists coz there are many religious historical sites mentioned in the bible and quran. mongolia is famous for its past kublai khan, genghis khan and also for its unique yurt in the grassland. you should try staying in one - it is awesome. |
