If you're a certified (or 'executive') nanny you can often get to travel with the family. I know several people who did this; they get to go to private villas in the Caribbean etc!
Or you could start with an au pair agency at an international location where they're looking for nannies that are native English speakers. That's a very popular request from educated families overseas who want their kids to speak English more regularly than just at school. Then you could do a year in one cool spot and then change and live somewhere else. I did this between high school and college, lived with a fabulous family in Madrid (a great nightclub city!) and came home speaking fluent Spanish. And 20 years later, I'm still best friends with two other girls who did the same thing at the agency!
