"Ever" can be a long time. Perhaps in a hundred thousand years or sooner we may figure out a way. As something approaches the speed of light, apparently time slows down making it theoretically impossible to be faster than the speed of light. That being said, there are things that are faster and it is possible that as someone suggested, they may figure out ways around it, such as worm holes.

I'm not sure where your going with this.
We are on the fringe of knowledge so travelling faster than the speed of light cannot be entirely ruled out. To travel faster than light is impossible in accordance with the laws of physics as we now understand them. |
