Default why are there always people who ask "why is your question in the philippines travel category"?

i just want the opinions of fellow pinoys. if i asked about judy ann santos in entertainment category, i may only get less than 2 answers and they would even ask who this person is.
is there another category just for pinoys to answer?

You may not get a decent answer if not posted in Travel Philippines Category even it is not related to travel if you are seeking and answer focused in the Philippines.

Dining Philippines is also for Pinoys, I guess.

Primarily this is Travel > Asia Pacific > Philippines and therefore any questions should, in theory, relate only to travel BUT the problem with that would be AS PER THIS LINK
http://au.answers.yahoo.com/dir/;_ylt=Apz3ovuOcvFRTKo0FU4dcgk6EBV.;_ylv=3?link=lis t&sid=396545492
A lot of the questions though not travel related still give a prospective visitor a run down of what to expect.
The ones that ask that question probably want this site solely for their own use (only an opinion)

There is a Philippine Yahoo Answers meant to tackle and categorize all possible questions related to Philippines. However since YATAPP is integrated among all YA, it is quite possible to miss out questions in other categories - even if we choose to view only Philippine questions. We all know that if we are to properly categorize our questions, we are rarely satisfied with the answers we get. YATAPP is a more solely "Philippine" category which makes it easier to ask and receive relevant answers.
e.g. ask for a translation in Languages and you will get 5 answerers at the most. ask the same in YAP and you get 5 answerers at the least.

A lot of people ask why we ask travel unrelated questions in this section because by definition, this section should only cover info pertaining to travel. Somehow we use YAP to gather opinions, seek cultural explanations, find lost addresses and stuff, and even just to share Pinoy peculiarities.

i think they can not see the point! they don't understand that we are posting the Q particularly for fellow Pinoys. If there are visitors, then it's their problem, but really, the Q is not so much for them. So where else should u post it, right? Never mind that it's travel, whatever. Other country travel sites do the same, as it is.

Because some people are not aware that this section does not only cater to questions about travel but covers every topic we could think of. It is a section often visited, not only by Filipinos but from other nationalities as well. Well, this is the only category available that would elicit more answers to your questions.

I had one question regarding marriage that one answerer commented that I was in the wrong category. I responded by telling him that this is the only section where I can get more answers from fellow Filipinos. So there.

These people need to 'lighten up'. To them, everything is black and white, there are no grey areas. Who cares right? As long as fellow kababayans and others answer your Qs, that's what matters.
