Discuss literary accounts of foerigners travelling to Britain & encountering 'Englishness' for the first time?

i am suppose to write 2500 words on it and it is my assignment ... it is my final exam and i have no ideal... all students are majoring on the subjuct and me.... i chosse it as my optional subjust ..... but it is very difficult..... and so plz do try to give me some idea to start up with
