G'day !
I live in Australia ,Sydney's Northern Beches to be precise and it is the most beautiful place on this earth. I would trade nothing for the surfing laid back culture that Australia offers. Being raised on the beach my entire life and being envolved in the Surf club and multi surfing competitions I wouldnt trade it for anything. Australia offers such a different lifestyle than any other place I have been to. When I traveled to California I was sadended to find how un friendly people were there and how a sinple question or even a smile guester was not inforced there as it is in Australia. A simple smile to your mate and a G'day as you walk down the street can be expected by almost every passer by. There are alot of different places you can travel to In Australia and each place will feel like a total other country. We have a vast strong beach culture with involves surfing sun and sand. Though we also have a strong outback culture involving farming ,traditional Aboringinal culture and desert. If you are expecting to come to Australia and find people riding Kangeroos to work and playing with snakes in their backyard and a huge collection of bugs and poinsones spiders then your not going to see them unless you travel deep in the outback. Come to Australia the people are friendly, the air is clean and the weather is warm. |

I live in Australia, it is a beautiful country and very laid back, it isnt as culturally historical as china unless you visit some traditional indigenous centres, but if its just a relaxing holiday you want then australia is the place. plus we speak english.
If your coming for the outside beachy sort of environment come during september-november that is when it is not too hot, not too cold but just nice warm beachy weather. If you from America (which im guessing you are) dont come during summer unless your use to the heat it can get up to 46 degrees celcius (114.8 degrees fahrenheit) |
