Travel/Study abroad or Boarding School?

I would like some information on studying abroad for a year.(i.e:Is it a good idea, and what you would recommended for programs).Perhaps even some information on good boarding schools in Europe. I also would love to know if it is good for college. I am currently a sophomore in high school by the way. Any information would be great, thanks!

p.s: any info on abroad internships would be nice!

Studying abroad is definitely a good idea. You'll not only get to travel around the world, but you'll also learn new cultures and meet new people.
