My cat likes to curl up in her travel bag and sleep. I’ve been letting her do so, as I’m thinking it'll lessen the traumatic effect of actually traveling in it… (If she’s going to travel, she might be happier doing it in a known and safe place, is my logic…)
Is there a reason why I shouldn’t let her sleep in her bag? |

I can't see a reason, and darn if you aren't lucky! LOL... one of mine, she's a bit stupid but I love her... walks right in. The other one, who's smarter than most humans I know, lol... I have to put her in the bottom of the carrier, have someone hold her, and then put the top on and fasten it, trying not to get her long fur stuck in the process!

It's never bad to let your cat sleep in her carrier. It helps her to realize that the door doesn't close on her, every time she enters it. She won't be scared of it, every time it's brought into a room.
My cat sleeps in hers on occasions. She likes the privacy it gives her. |

It's never bad to let your cat sleep in her carrier. She will get used to it and know that the door wont close on her and she will feel safe. She won't be scared of her carrier. This gives cats their privacy of feeling. There is no reason why she cant sleep in her bag.
