I want to get my friends a travel gift card for their wedding and have people contribuete to it?

is there anyway to send a link to the gift card so people can contribute whatever amount they want rather than being a set travel gift card and having people split it many ways...the wedding isn't for a copule of months and I wanted to contribute money to it as I got it (by travel gift card I mean for a particular airline unless you know of something better)

Are you absolutely sure they want a travel card and want it on that particular airline? If so, rock on, it's a great idea.

However, you can't add amounts to it. I'd suggest that you get pledges from folks, then have someone with some disposable income purchase the gift card. You can then collect the money from people.

You can also buy several gift cards of different denominations. American allows you to redeem up to eight cards in combination for a flight.
