I want to get my friends a travel gift card for their wedding gift and have people contribute to it?

is there anyway to send a link to the gift card so people can contribute whatever amount they want rather than being a set travel gift card and having people split it many ways...the wedding isn't for a copule of months and I wanted to contribute money to it as I got it (by travel gift card I mean for a particular airline unless you know of something better)

The safest and surest way is to ask people to give you the money and you put in the money by credit card or something.

When several people choose to give a real gift that is acceptable. What you want to do would be fine if you just did it. To make it a mass contribution is tacky..You do what you want, let others do it there way..How many couples to it, they register for things like that....be it gifts, tickets, hotels etc...

That is a neat idea; however, they may be expecting items from their registry; also, you may not get enough people to contribute...yes, evite is cool

If you go that route, make sure that the gift card doesn't expire or they'll be out a trip.
