How to get a wireless internet connection for traveling?

Can I buy a wireless internet connection for when I travel? I am going out of state and bringing my laptop. The place I am staying does not have an internet connection which is necessary for me to work. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Well if your 100% sure it does not have internet connection, the only way would be to get a PC wireless card. Now the PC Wireless Card can cost $100 and more + you would also need the plan. Which is provide by a cellphone company (i think t-mobile is the cheapest) Also not sure if you can get it for like a month, i think it also goes by contract
