How do I get wii on my laptop while traveling?

I travel 4-5 times per year and would like to avoid paying a significant monthly charge for this.

You just get lucky and hope you are in areas that have a free open wireless network. Lots of restaurants, book stores etc have it now. Las Vegas even has free wifi in their airport BUT if you aren't someplace that has an open network you will have to pay if thats an option.

The only other thing to consider would be a USB or PCMIA Sprint or Verizon wireless internet card but thats going to run at least 25-50 a mth I bet and they will require a 1-2 year contract.

actually yes u can. its called sprint wireless eathernet. its 40 dollars a month and u can unlimites surfing. and usage. i use it and u can be anywhere u want and still be connected to the internet.
