How do i also calculate how far away a lightning flash occured if the sound was heard 6.4 seconds, after the lightning was seen? It relates to the above information.

330m=0,33km sound: 0,33km/s 1 hour=3600 s sound: 0,33km/s in 1 hour: 0,33km*3600s=1188km/h a ligtning strike occured with a sound heard after 6,4 seconds, means that it takes 6,4 seconds for the sound from the strikning point to reach our ears: distance = speed*time distance = 0,33km/s*6,4s distance = 2,11km |
