If they fly on a plane, they will be put with the luggage area and it can get pretty cold in that area. Although they can live in cooler climates, it is best to keep them with you. When you travel, make sure you have all of their medical information regarding shots, illnesses, etc. You'll also need to have access to their food, leash and harnesses to exercise and explore, and basic medical supplies. Make sure they have a cool place to be in your car (not in direct sunlight). Also, what about staying somewhere overnight - you'll have to find a pet friendly motel (or, take a chance somewhere). Do you have a vet yet in Florida? Check with your current vet to see if he or she knows someone in Florida. Dooks!
