You should try Circus Circus...they always have something going on to keep kids of all ages busy and interested.

several choices...

Treasure Island is a good one if you're travelling with kids...(not that upscale)

MGM...(still not that upscale)

Four Seasons...pamper your teenagers...

or Hard Rock if you want them to get buck wild...

most upscale hotel/casinos dont want kids at their properties, and neither do the other guests. They cant go on the casino floor at all. stay at one of the family hotels (soon to be gone) Circus Circus, Excalibur and maybe TI. The family experiment failed in Vegas 10 years ago. I stay at the better hotels to get away from kids....thats why I go to Vegas and not DisneyWorld!

Circus Circus is not the only hotel that has entertainment for kids (many others have arcades, etc.), and that place is definitely not upscale.

I'd recommend any major hotel that is in the center of the strip so that the kids can go to the surrounding areas near-by to entertain themselves once they've gotten bored of whatever place you stay at.

Caesars Palace and the Mirage fit perfectly into that description IMO.

There are 2 hotels that are clearly head and shoulders above the usual Bellagio, Wynn, Venetian standard rooms with lots of space for your teenagers.

MGM Skylofts start at about 1,600 sq. ft and go up. It is way more upscale than the regular Bellagio/Venetian rooms because of 24/7 butler and concierge service, top notch electronics, infinity edge bathtubs, etc.

Remember that a standard Venetian or Palazzo room tops out at about 720 to perhaps 735 sq. ft. and Bellagio's are under 600.

Another very good room is the Fairway Villas at Wynn. I didn't think the bathtub and shower were as cool as the Skylofts but the rooms are even bigger. You also have access to the very convenient golf although Shadow Creek is a better course and available to you if you are at the MGM Skylofts.

I recommend Mandalay Bay. It has a fantastic swimming pool; probably the best in Las Vegas and that is saying something. There is a free tram that runs from Mandalay Bay to the Luxor and then to Excalibur wich places you right in the middle of the action.

The hotel rooms (suites) are beautiful and large. There are many attractions there, too, including the Shark Reef.

Thats a very tough age for Vegas. Too young to do the adult stuff, but too old to be amused by kiddie entertainment.

I would suggest New York, NY. When I stayed there it had a good amount of teenagers in it.
