My husband & I are going to London and were told that if you had any felony conviction you cannot enter the UK, is that true? Who would we contact to verify? Need help fast!!

The drug conviction would still show up on his record and it is up to the customs officials in London as to whether they will let him in or not. The only way you can make the record go away is if your husband applys for a pardon (this takes quite a while). Best way to figure this out is to call the UK Customs office and you can probably find this number on the internet somewhere. Good Luck!

Surely a drugs conviction from 1973 would be wiped off your record by now, it only stayes on for a certain amount of time, and a drugs felony would not be on file after 35 years unless you were on of the country's main drugs barons, in which case you would probably still be in jail and not travelling anywhere.
