What kind of visa is acceptable by the military to give me a traveling permission to travel in Summer ?

Im a student in the 4th grade ,fac. of vet. med. (not the final year)..I'm allowed to travel only in summer vacation (3 months)so, what about a visa for working 1 year or more?will it be refused?And if so , is a 3months-working visa fits?

I think just for 3 month and abroad you will make it longer if you have a comtract from tthe place where you will work and that is commen here in Germany!
