Traveling from Orange County to San Fran at 32 weeks?

I am suppose to drive up to San Fran with my husband at 32 weeks. It is about an 8 hour drive.

My doctor has not said given me a straight forward answer. However she advised me to make an emergency list of hospitals along the way with icu just incase.

Does anyone else have any feedback??

My doc cleared me for travelling by car up to 35-36 weeks. But that's based on my own health and pregnancy. Your doc may not be ready to answer until you're ready to go.

I decided on my own that I'll stop car travel by 32 weeks. Nowhere farther than an hour drive away.

If you do drive, carry your records with you for the just-in-case situation. Map the hospitals on the route, not just a list -- as well as rest stops and likely places for potty breaks. And schedule extra travel time for breaks. You'll want to get out of the car every so often to give your body a little rest from sitting in one position.
