Picture ID for travel to Vietnam and Cambodia?

I'm traveling to Vietnam and Cambodia shortly, but recently I lost my wallet with all my normal picture ID (driver's license, etc.). I have an up-to-date passport, but I'm worried that there may be an instance where someone asks me for additional forms of picture ID and I'll be in trouble.

I have an old expired credit card with my picture on it, but I think that's it until I get my new cards.


Does anyone know if I'm safe?

Passport is sufficient. Expired card is ok since most people doesn't pay attention beyond name and picture.

The only time I have been asked for additional ID when I have presented my passport was in a US bank - the poor thing behind the counter wasn't used to such documentation.

Don't worry, with a valid passport you are ok.
