How I travel from Jerusalem to Eilat (Israel)?

I have a business trip to Israel next week and I decided to stay for more 4 days to hang around. I would like to spend some time in Eilat. is the Taxi expensive? buses?

There's a bus from Jerusalem to Eilat 4 times a day which costs 65 NIS.
A taxi would costs 1042/1293 NIS (depends on the hour and day)
Keep in mind that it takes 4-6 hours (I think the bus takes a break in Be'er-Sheva)
A better option would be flight from Ben-Gurion airport, which costs around 350 NIS and only takes about an hour.

And why should you limit yourself to Eilat? Think big, Egypt is next door, 35 minutes to Cairo.
