Default how safe is it to travel on train at 36 weeks pregnant?

my mother in law wants me to travel for 2hrs on train to visit her this weekend and i was wondering how safe is it to travel on trains this far into my pregnancy.
my mother in laaw is disabled and completely housebound thats why i have to go there

its perfectly safe,if u feel uncomfortable,stretch your legs out.
On the other hand,why not ask your M.I.Law to come n visit u?

Did you mean Plane? Those are not recommended due to the change in pressure. I can see no reason why it would be dangerous to sit on a train. I think she should visit you though!
Ok in that case it's fine just take all your pregnancy notes with you and go with someone if you can.

It's perfectly safe, But remember; If anything happens on that train, You've got another life on your shoulders.

Just keep it in mind, Not trying to scare you.

Or you could have her come visit you:)

you are not in India i hope because travelling on the train roof could be very risky!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its safe but you are near to term and theoretically you could go into labour at any time and what a nightmare that would be, its at about this time that pregnant women start to stay closer to home. It depends on if you are travelling with anyone and what would you do if you did go into labour, would you want to end up in a strange hospital because you won't be getting on a train to do 2 hours back home again. Its a tough call
