can a child of 15 travel aloan on a virgin train ?

i have a child who is 15 and would like to know if she could travel aloan with a virgin childs train ticket to london.

Yes of course she can. Just make sure you have someone waiting at the other end to pick her up. This is in no way illegal or anything. And trains are public transport, meaning there is no rules as to who or what rides.

Yes she can travel but if she was my daughter I wouldn't let her travel on her own. I'd go with her and make sure she got to where she is going safely. Too many weirdo's about.

The problem arises when she gets off the train, I would not want a kid of mine to get to London then have to find their own way somewhere.

I know these policies can vary greatly from company to company. Some have very loose rules about it, while other have policies such as children under 15 must be with a parent, and children 15-17 must have written permission to travel alone.

Check first. You don't want your daughter to end up being denied passage for some dumb reason like not having a written permission with her.

I was only 15 when I started work on the railways .Covered thousands of miles at weekends travelling the country spending my wages on reduced rate tickets .No one gave me any grief.Got lost a couple of times but it was no big deal,there`s always another train coming along sooner or later.
