The distance would be 82 miles and would take approximately 1.5 hours. It would be a straight through journey with no change of trains part way through. Somebody would be waiting to meet him at the other end and he'd have his own mobile phone. It would be during the day. He's sensible and would be aged 11.5. He would have this journey to do every 6.7 weeks.
Do you think 11.5 would be old enough to complete this journey by himself? I would do it the first time with him to show him what to do and so that he could see the layout of the stations. I live in the UK, not the Wild West :-/ |

Hmm - I'm really not sure. I know on an Aeroplane that would be fine, however this would involve a hostess looking after him. If someone would be meeting him at each end, and the train would not be stopping at all on the journey - I don't see why this would be a problem. But you should try to google this for a legal answer. Hope you get sorted
