Sounds like a good trip. www.seat61.com is useful when it comes to train trips. The Bulgaria page is here..http://www.seat61.com/Bulgaria.htm it explains how to get from London but I assume that Ireland to London is probably the easiest bit for you to arrange.

Dont go via Rosslare, take the ferry from Dublin or the fast one from Dun Laoghaire (hope thats spelt right) to Holyhead and the train to London from there. That gets you into Kings Cross and you can just walk across the road to St Pancras. This would save at least 3 hours travelling and the costs of Dublin to Rosslare.

Holyhead services would take you to Euston - the terminus for the West Coast, still a tube ride to St Pancras

Get digging the Eire to UK tunnel!

BTW ref "Holyhead services would take you to Euston - the terminus for the West Coast, still a tube ride to St Pancras"

It is not really a tube ride from Euston to St Pancras - it is a 5 minute walk or just one tube stop.
