Travelling by Train...Routes from Istanbul through Europe.?

I'm hoping to go from Istanbul, Turkey to Aberdeen, Scotland starting by train through most of Europe...in the shortest amount of time. Though i have no clue if i need a visa for each country? and how long (Estimated) would it take to reach my destination?
Any possible agencies for this or some other possibility?

Well, the most direct route is Istanbul to Belgrade to Vienna to Frankfurt to Paris to London to Aberdeen.
Just from Istanbul to Paris is almost 50 hours. Then from Paris to Aberdeen is at least another 10 hours.
You could also go through Brussels after Frankfurt instead of Paris.
