I think I would.
Of course, much would depend on the construction of the space craft you were on. It would have to be made very comfortable, and give you enough stuff to do to keep you busy. There would have to be multiple families making the trip together, so it would be possible to set up a colony. A voyage of many generations would require basically a whole town worth of people. So going through space in a flying town wouldn't be much different from living your whole life in the same town, and lots of people do that. But if that's the case, why colonize a new planet. Couldn't you just live on the space station? |

When space travel becomes common place, I don't think that it would be any different than the settling on uncharted locations as humans have have done here on Earth.
Space travel, and colonizing other planets would merely be an extension of what was already done here. There were great odds that we were up against back then, as there shall be great odds as we venture out from this planet in the not-too-distant future. :) |
