I don't know. I have never been in space, so I can't really say.

I'm sure it would be one in a lifetime experience, IF you had the money...

That money is spent in the US economy. It can only help us. Compare it to how much is being spent on the war. You'll see it's insignificant - and doing so much more for us.

Manned space travel is never worth the costs, or the risks. We have the technology to perform the tasks astronauts would do using robotics, at a fraction of the cost, and with zero risk to human life.

Only to astronauts and astronomers! But they get paid to work with this stuff! Actually it will be worth a lot if they make a real discovery out there!

I believe Space Travel is totally worth the cost. We might not see that now because we're just starting to explore everything that's out there but in the future it will be vital to human beings. What began as a competition between the soviet Union and the US has evolved in to something much more bigger. We have created the International Space Station where man can live on orbit. This Station has been vital to do experiments and prove new technology that couldn't be used because of earth's gravity. Also earth's population is getting bigger every year, there will be a time when earth alone will not be able to sustain all of those people and we will need to live in habitats created on the surface of other planets. Satellites are a result of space travel, if satellites didn't the world of communications Will not be as advanced as it is today. Finally I believe space travel has also helped the US to become the super power that it is today.
