military space a travel from LA to jacksonville FL?

i have never used space a and would like to know what people think. i need to go to FL and was thinking of using space a.
when i say from LA i ment from March AFB in riverside. any help would be great. i dont need to leave on a certain day but would like to leave within the week or so. i have never used space a before so i dont know what to do.

Don't plan on arriving the day you plan to arrive or departing the day you plan to depart. Space A works because the military fits you into their schedule. If their schedule doesn't fly from LA to JAX regularly, it may be a while. Also, if you are traveling for pleasure/not on official orders, you will be relatively low in the pecking order for getting what seats are available.

Jacksonville is relatively easy to fly in/out of because NAS Jax is here. I'm not too sure about LA, but I imagine it would be more difficult because there's not a large air station in the vicinity to fly into.

Here's the main phone number for March Air Reserve Base. But, most of their missions are for Pacific Air Forces, so I don't know if you will be able to connect with NAS Jacksonville, Florida. I think you might do better trying to get a hop out of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, about thirty miles down I-15 from March. That's the second number below.
