Should the fact that we can travel past the atmosphere and into space alter my perception of heaven?

Isn't heaven supposed to be up in the sky? Where the clouds are? Pearly gates?

it should encourage you to understand why heaven is a creation of man.

no. the sky is just a image people give heaven because no one knows where heaven is nor has someone seen it and lived to describe it.

Heaven is what you make of it, not just what's "up in the sky."

The location for heaven has been adjusted for the evidence you present.
The location is now extradimensional. Once we go into other dimensions and dont see heaven I am sure it will move once again.

heaven is invisible to the living eye its faith that will guide your soul to the true gates in the sky when you are gone

No and yes, don't alter your perception, heaven is always assumed to be up as down is classed as hell, in reality heaven is 'elsewhere'.
