Default If you were travelling through space at the speed of light & turned on your headlights What would you see?

This is a theoretical question however it does bug me. Mindful of the fact that space is void of light, let's assume that there were dust particles to reflect the light...

Nothing.. we can see 'something' because the light go into our eyes (after being reflected somewhere). So, we move at the speed of light, turn our light (of course the speed is the same), by the time the light reflect, we have gone too far.. keep in mind that we are traveling with the same speed.. the light will never come to us.

You would see whatever the light reflected off of. This is presuming that you didn't pass by the light before it went into your eyes.

The real catch is- if you are going at the speed of light and turn around then you wouldn't see the car you were travelling in. You would be travelling in a void.

If you were travelling at the speed of light then time would have dilated to infinity. Time would be stopped for you.
You would be in stasis until the end of time.

The light from your headlights would also be traveling at the speed of light.

So it would not make it out of the headlight.

Within a short time the heat buildup would burn out the headlight so you would see nothing until your headlights burned up and then you would see that and nothing more.

Wouldn't you see exactly the same as you did before you turned them on if you are travelling at the speed of light.? Staying hypothetical, if you could open the window of your spaceship and gently let go an article would it still be outside the window 1/2 later?
Have you ever stood inside a tin bath , held onto both handles and tried to lift yourself up?
P.S. I love the first two answers Malika and Poorcoco. Anything that brings a smile to the lips cannot be all bad.

well its obvious that u havnt read any of einsteins work regarding this..........first of all the question is wrong in my opinion.........because......according to einstein if something travels at the speed of light it gets shorter and its mass gets bigger.......so i think we would be more concerened abt other stuff then getting to know wht happens when we switch on our hedlights.........

you would see what ever is ahead of you. Check out theory of relativity. Imagine we are both running a race, we are running at the same speed but I am ahead of you (the flashlight) you would still see me ahead of you.

Also, if I am moving at the speed of light and so are you, if we are approaching each other and turn on flashlights, that light is travelling towards the other person at, the speed of light, it is not sped up like if we were on trains.
