Default will space vehicle travel more than the speed of light or less than the speed of light?

Current space vehicles.... much, much less than the speed of light

Future space vehicles... hopefully much more than the speed of light. :)

Unless our conception of space and time changes completely, no space vehicle (not even an electron for that matter) will travel more than the speed of light.

A vehicle can't travel more than the speed of light because according to Einstein's special theory of relativity, the velocity of light is constant and mass would cease to exist if it were to have a greater velocity. Mass greatly increases as it approaches the speed of light, but at a critical point it can increase no further. The other component of velocity is time, which is the only other thing that can change. Thus, the concept of time warping or time travel.

i don't think we could survive the speed, it would distort the human body too much trying to squeeze all that matter through space at one time.

No 'thing,' like a spacecraft or anything else, can even get up to the speed of light, to say nothing of going faster. However, we don't know everything there is to know about all the physical laws that may exist but for now are undiscovered.

no mass/object can travel faster than the speed of light as put by Einstein's theory.

No physical object can travel faster than light. Let me prove it. Pls go through it carefully.
According to Einstein (hope you believe in him)

mv = m0/sqrt( 1 - (v^2/c^2) ) ...... (1)

Here m0 is the velocity of a body at rest. 'mv' is the velocity of the body at a velocity 'v'. And 'c' is the speed of light.

Now if sth has to travel faster than light then, here v > c.
But if v > c then the value of (v^2/c^2) in (1) is greater than 1 and if that happens then we get a -ve integer inside the square root which is considered a CRIME in mathematics.

For eg take the value of 'v' as 6*10^8 m/s which is twice the speed of light. Now compute the denominator part of (1). You'll see that its sqrt(-3). Is there any integer which on squaring will give -3. NO!

We can conclude that NOTHING can travel faster than light because "saying Square root of a -ve integer is meaningless." Moreover the value of 'mv' becomes infinite i.e. a mass you cannot count with anything from EARTH. If sth becomes infinite in mass you would require infinite energy to move it and for that all the energy available in the Universe is insufficient which is of the order 10^55.

Yes, FTL will be possible in the future. Star Trek in right. Google FTL, string theory, M theory, etc.

you NEVER can travel even IN the speed of the sound
couse of the law by einstein
E=Mc^2
as fast as you go you gain more mass , so your speed become less and less

that's why we never can undrestand what's happening right now in the universe
