Default How does my wife get a visa to travel from U.S. to Brazil?

My family and I are traveling to Brazil for vacation. My wife is a resident alien from Mexico. She is going to get her passport at the Mexican consulate in Dallas, TX. She is also going to need a visa. Where does she go to get that? What is it, or what's it for? What documents will she need for it? Can she get at the same time as her passport?

Once she gets her passport, she will need to go to the Brazilian consulate office in Dallas to get it stamped with a tourist visa.

* To get a visa to enter Brazil she will have to go to the Brazilian Consulate. There is probly one in Dallas. Then she should be ok to travel to Brazil. However before you return to the U.S tjhe family must obtain a Visa from the U.S. Embassy or consulate. In your wife's case since she will have a Mexican passport it should be brought to the attention of the American official along with presenting her green card which of course wil identify her as a U.S. resident. To make sure this info is correct I woud also check with a good travel agency.I

She has to get her Passport first. Then is she has already the passport she has to go to a Brazilian Embassy or Consulate which I pressumed has an office near your place.
