Default Does a Resident Alien from Mexico who is travelling to Brazil have to get a visa from Mexico or U.S.?

My family and I are preparing to go to Brazil for the summer. My wife is a resident alien from mexico. All of us will need a visa and passport. Does my wife have to get her visa or passport in Mexico?

Your wife needs to get a Mexican passport, but if she has her Mexican passport, she should be able to get a visa here in the U.S. I would also check with the Mexican embassy here to see if they issue passports.
