Jem, Turkey isn't member of the EU. The Turkish New Lira (YTL) is the currently money there and not euros, but they accept it as well as U.S. dollars.
You should try Brazil. It isn't expensive for an American and it's beautiful. There are many wonderful places, good food, great weather, friendly people and it's nearer to the U.S. than Turkey. http://www.travelguidebrazil.com/ http://www.activetravelbrazil.com/ http://www.discoverbrazil.com/ http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/brazil |
