Default All in favor of drilling oil in Texas, Alaska, South Dakota, off the Pacific Coast, etc. Sound OFF!!?

Really, the US has plenty of oil. Why don't we just use our own for a while?

PS... Did you know that off shore drilling platforms are great for Salmon populations, their natural prey lives around them.

Hell yes!!! It would be better than buying it from the Arabs and having them use the money to support terrorism.

Its not a forever fix, but it will help us out NOW.

People are more important than animals. And I am a HUGE animal lover.

do you live in any of these states? have you seen the price of real estate go UP because of Drilling companies buying the property? When it comes to offshore drilling, its great, but not in the pacific. Coral doesn't just spring up wherever, and drilling won't help keep it alive. While I see the benefits of drilling for our own oil, I also see the downfall. For every pro there is a con, so lets not make this into ONE Big Solution.

ABSOLUTELY YOU HAVE MY VOTE...YES!!!!!!!!!!!

And don't forget the Williston Basin (the second largest oil reserve in the U.S. and one of the top TEN in the world). AND it's in North Dakota= OUR OIL.

Our enemies are smart enough to be self-energy-sufficient. Iran will have SEVEN NEW refineries on line by 2012.

That's FOUR YEARS, for all you ECO-NUTS.
OH! Wait they probably want to pay $10.00 per gallon, before they decide.

Between the Towel Heads controlling the oil and the Rice Monkeys controlling the Panama Canal, we in the U.S. will be pretty much screwed in the next 10 years.

Let's get to the oil NOW....we will have the next 50 to 100 years to solve the other issues and a LOT of time for technology to find & develop BETTER energy sources.

In case anyone has not noticed....NOT ALL, nor even a majority of the scientific community has bought into the GORE FANTASY.

I totally agree with you...not a permanent solution, but until we get these hydrogen fuel cell cars moving i think its a great idea...unless we would all like to keep paying through the nose for gas everyday.
