Default Can anyone tell me about the supposed hurricane in the Pacific Ocean, near Hawaii?

I live on O'ahu, Hawaii, and I have been told that we should be expecting a hurricane shortly. Can anyone tell me anything about this hurricane? I cant find it on the news channels, nor the internet. Thanks.

hey i live in oahu, hawaii too! i watched the khon2 news today and joe moore talked about something like a tropical storm thats in big island and is heading towards oahu. the weather forecast for the week is going to be on the cloudy/rainy side with isolated showers. you don't have to worry about it becuz whenever they say there's a hurricane, nothing bad happens! the worse that can happen is a lot of rain. it can't beat what happened in march. :)

Check weatherchannel.com and find the weather for Hawaii, somewhere on that page you will find a weathermap, click enlarge and then click show this map in motion, and you will see excactly what is comming down the pike.
I hope this was helpfull, have a nice day
