Does the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean have more deepwater currents. What about surface currents?

I'm doing a research paper on, well it's on more of question. I'm trying to figure out which Ocean has more of each current. This is really important this Paper depends of 75% of my grade. If you are just going to joke around I would rather you not put an anwser. I don't like it when people joke on things as serious as this.

I think the Atlantic has the continental shelf. Try looking that up and it might give you some info.
