In the northern hemisphere, the overall ocean current is clockwise. That means, on the West Coast of the USA, the water is moving down from the Arctic (brrr!), while on the East Coast, it is moving up from the equator (ahhhh!). But that's just the coastal United States.

This is just my best guess but I think it's the Pacific for all three answers. The Pacific is bigger and expanding, more coast line would make it saltier. Cleaner because Industry did not start in that hemisphere and Warm because The Berring Straight blocks much of the Artic Ocean Water
