San Diego and Pacific Terrace and Pacific Ocean?

Why can't I book a room at this hotel next spring? The online reservations won't allow me. Would they be this far booked in advance?

Also, I'm not familiar with California seasonal temps. Is it too cold in November to go to the beach and swim in the ocean? Are there any times of year when it's too cold to swim there?

Is it more than a year in advance? Some hotels only take reservations up to a year. I've stayed in this hotel and love it.

Sometimes it November you will find lots of people laying on the beach....beach weather where you actually swim is best from May through September. October is often still very nice.

We went last Nov. In San Diego it was approx. 70 degrees (air temp.). The water is definitely too cold to swim.

They might be having trouble with their server or something. So, you could try again in a day or two...or you could call the reservation number instead

Good beach weather around here is July through mid-October, water temps over 65. May Gray and June Gloom are well-known local weather phenomena, meaning overcast at the beach, and it's due to cool water temperatures.
